Quartz soil and red clay nurture vines that yield grapes handpicked and then cold and carbonic-ally macerated for 22 days. The wine is matured for 12 months in Burgundy barrels, resulting in a deep purple colour and a bold aroma of black cherries and violets. The Syrah grape brings a spicy touch of tobacco leaf, with a full-bodied structure and fine tannins for a well-balanced and long-lasting finish.
