Grown on granitic soils at altitudes between 400 and 600 metres near Vila Nova de Tazem and Gouveia, this red reflects the freshness and balance that define the Dão region. The vines, aged between 15 and 40 years, bring maturity and character to the wine.

After gentle destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled 23 ºC, followed by a short period of ageing in wooden barrels that adds subtle texture without overshadowing the fruit.

Bright ruby in colour, it opens with fragrant aromas of red fruits and a touch of light toast. On the palate, generous fruit flavour is balanced by lively acidity and rounded tannins, resulting in a harmonious and approachable finish.

Produced with care by a family estate rooted in the traditions of the Dão, Sonante Tinto expresses both regional elegance and everyday versatility.
