With a density of 4000 plants per hectare, yielding 9tons per hectare. This variety is hand-picked in late October each year. Fermentation and maceration of skins is in stainless steel
tanks for at least 15 - 20 days, then a further twelve months in oak before being bottled.
Mature red fruits, vanilla and cocoa stand out. Tannins are strong and
elegant, well balanced from the softness. A rich and deep wine.
